Foundation for Male Engagement (FOME) Uganda is governed by a five-member Board of Directors that supports and supervises FOME’s activities.
FOME Uganda is overseen by the Board of Directors, which provides guidance and leadership for the organization. The Board is made up of experts in our focus areas and senior leaders at similar non-government organisations. The Board is headed by a Chairperson, who serves along with four other directors. Joseph Nyende
Executive Director
Before joining the Foundation for Male Engagement Uganda (FOME) in 2016, Joseph had worked as a consultant for civil society organisations, government institutions, and development agencies, including the World Bank Uganda Country office, WYG International, and Delta Partnership, a British international development consultancy firm. Joseph has also worked with the Uganda Network of AIDS Service Organisations and Centre for Student’s Research.
Allan Malcolm
Networking and partnerships manager
Allan Malcolm is a lawyer and human rights activist. He is proficient in the community life competence process, experienced in policy advocacy, and is a music and drama producer and director. At FOME, his main roles include conflict resolution, community empowerment, and monitoring and evaluation.
